Get directionsBeachy Head is the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain, rising 162 metres above the Channel, with views along the coast from Dungeness to the Isle of Wight.
A clifftop walk takes you past the red-and-white Beachy Head lighthouse standing in the sea below, on to Belle Tout, the old lighthouse that was jacked back 17 metres from the edge in 1999.
It sits right beside Eastbourne and just east of the Seven Sisters, with Birling Gap's beach and café a short walk west along the cliffs.
