The church closed in 1948, was declared redundant in 1973 and is now cared for by the Churches Conservation Trust.
Its tower collapsed in 1661, destroying the south aisle; the Flemish congregation rebuilt the tower and left the aisle ruined, and it is now a garden.
The curfew bell is still rung at 8pm every day, an ancient custom that continues.
