The reserve has many miles of path and five bird hides, and most of its land is shingle and mud.
Birds to look for include bittern, bearded tit, lapwing, curlew, redshank, ringed plover and little tern.
The Discovery Centre has a café and a shop, and the reserve itself is open all day, every day.
