The hill is a 100-hectare country park on the south-east side of Gloucester, rising to 198 metres.
On a clear day the view takes in the Severn bridges, the Malvern Hills, May Hill, the Cotswold escarpment and the Black Mountains.
Entry and parking are free, and there is a café at the wildlife centre by the car park.
