Quick facts

The bridge crosses the stream that inspired the stick-racing game in The House at Pooh Corner.

It stands just outside the forest, on the edge of Posingford Wood near Chuck Hatch.

Built in 1907, restored in 1979 and completely rebuilt in 1999, it is the bridge E. H. Shepard's illustrations made famous.
