Quick facts

The museum stands on the site of Mary Anning's birthplace and family shop, and shows the fossils found along the coast.

It was formerly known as the Philpot Museum and now has a newer wing named after Mary Anning.

It runs fossil walks led by local experts, with museum entry, and visitors may keep the fossils they find.
