Quick facts

The Priory of St Pancras was founded around 1081 as a Cluniac house by William de Warenne and his wife Gundreda.

It was demolished after the Dissolution of the Monasteries in 1538, and its Caen stone was reused in nearby Southover Grange.

The surviving ruins are Grade I listed and stand in a public park with information boards.
