Quick facts

She was floated out in 1765, first commissioned in 1778, and is described as the world's oldest naval vessel still in commission.

As Nelson's flagship at Trafalgar in 1805 she broke the Franco-Spanish line, and Nelson was shot on her quarterdeck.

She has lain in her current dry dock since 1922 and has been open to the public for nearly 200 years, remaining open during her long-running Big Repair.
