Brighton Palace Pier

The pier was officially opened on 20 May 1899 and runs 525 metres out to sea.

It had over four million visitors in 2016, according to a 2017 report.

Its funfair has two roller coasters, a helter skelter and a traditional carousel, and there is a small entry charge on busy summer days.
