The park began in 1918 as Sunken Gardens and grew into an amusement park with 36 attractions, including five roller coasters.
Rage, a coaster about 22 m tall with a 97-degree drop and three inversions, opened in 2007.
The park runs either side of the pier from February to December, with an indoor area open all year.
