Quick facts

Gibbet Hill, the highest point on the bowl's rim, stands at about 272 metres and on a clear day gives views that can reach the London skyline.

The National Trust acquired the Punch Bowl and Hindhead Common in 1906, making it one of its first open spaces.

It lies within the Wealden Heaths National Nature Reserve, declared in 2025.
